A promotional event focusing on lunch box fillers and breakfast favourites has been launched in Nisa retailers’ stores to coincide with children across the UK returning to school after the summer break.
With household spending on food and clothing having recently increased by 7.4% and a significant rise in energy costs on the horizon, the event is designed to give consumers the opportunity to stock up on a wide range of family favourites for less.
A selection of deals are available on lunchbox essentials such as Soreen Lunchbox Malt Loaves 5pk for £1; Petits Filous Yoghurts 4pk for £1.25; and Kelloggs Krave 410g for £2.50; as well as drinks including Robinsons Orange Juice 1ltr for £1.25; and Evian Water Bottles 6pk for £2.20.
There are also deals to be had on several sandwich fillers including Co-op Sliced Roast Chicken 130g at £1; and Co-op Honest Value Tuna Flakes 145g at 73p a tin.
Nisa’s Fresh 3 promotion this month offers shoppers Easy Peelers 600g and Family Apple packs for £1 a bag.
Nisa’s Offline marketing manager, Holly Bellew, said: “For busy working parents and carers, being able to pick up each component of a child’s lunch box such as drinks, sandwich fillers and snacks all in one place, best accommodates their needs while encouraging basket building for our retailers.
“We’re encouraging retailers to make good use of the ‘Fuel for School’ point-of-sale and gondola ends to ensure the offers are easy to spot in store.”
The Fuel for School event runs until Tuesday, September 20.
