Bonds Confectionery has announced it is to increase its offering by adding Rhubarb and Custard to the Sweet Shop favourites price-marked range.
It says the Rhubarb and Custard sweets have been brought into the range as they are a traditional favourite, which fits perfectly into the nostalgic product range.
Coming in a case of 12, the Rhubarb and Custard sweets fit onto the usual Sweet Shop stand, making them easy to merchandise in the range. The 150g bags have an RSP of £1.
Philip Courtenay-Luck, managing director of Bonds Confectionery, commented: “Rhubarb and Custards are one of the country’s most nostalgic sweets, so rolling them out in time for Easter seemed like a great idea.
“Placing these sweets in corner-shops will really rekindle Britain’s love for sweets from their childhood. Alongside this the price-marked offering, further expansion of the Sweet Shop range is planned throughout the year as it has proved extremely popular with retailers of all sizes. This is not only down to the fantastic price point, but also the fact that they’re easy to merchandise.”
