Christmas is a key period for energy drinks sales thanks to party-goers wanting mixers, designated drivers going for alchohol-free drinks, tired travellers needing a boost and those with hangovers just wanting to get through the day.
Boost is hoping to secure some of these sales with a promotion on its 1ltr Original, Sugar Free and Exotic Fruits PETs – reduced from £1.29 to £1 – with bottles featuring a prominent £1 Special Offer flash.
Many retailers like to stock Boost as a ‘challenger’ brand, especially as it’s only available through the independent trade.
Boost’s advice to retailers is to have the right mix of products reflecting their local market and to give consumers a choice. By stocking price-marked packs, the firm says retailers can show good value and drive sales.
