A man has been charged with attempted arson following an incident at a petrol filling station in Winchester.
Hampshire Police were called just before 11pm on Sunday, 1 August, to reports of a man shouting at staff and attempting set a bag alight at the petrol station forecourt on Andover Road.
James Anthony Lloyd, 33, of Christchurch Road in Winchester, has been charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life.
He appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court Tuesday 3 August, where he was further remanded in custody. He is due to appear before Winchester Crown Court on 2 September.
