Maxol has completed a £209,000 refurbishment of its Townparks service station in Co. Antrim.
The Spar Daily Deli has been upgraded and now provides a wide range of hot and cold food served throughout the day, including vegan and vegetarian options, to meet increasing customer demand. The internal seating area has been refurbished to create a comfortable place where customers can drink a coffee from the Barista Bar or a bite to eat instore.
The store layout has changed, allowing the fresh food range to be extended and the introduction of an extensive range of artisan pre-packed butchery products.
Improvements also include upgraded washroom facilities and installation of a new porch and renovated entrance area. Maxol has also made some changes in the forecourt area to create additional parking spaces to meet with the growing demand from customers.
Brian Donaldson, CEO of The Maxol Group, said: “We’re extremely happy with the renovations and are confident that these updates will enable us to continue to provide an easy, convenient and enjoyable experience for all customers in the area.
“Last year, we celebrated 100 years of Maxol in Northern Ireland and we are delighted to continue investing in our local service stations. It is our aim to have a network of convenience destinations that will continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers across Northern Ireland.”
Stephen Culberston, licensee of Maxol Townparks, said: “Our customers are always our top priority and this investment will enable us to provide them with the best shopping experience possible while also ensuring that our service station offers state-of-the-art facilities for the local community.
We’re excited to welcome our customers back to see the improvements we’ve made.”
