Sponsors of the Valero UK Benefit for Children Classic have donated more than £169,000 for children’s charities, even though the event this year did not take place. When the annual charity golf and karting event was cancelled earlier in the year because of the Covid-19 pandemic, Valero was concerned that the charities would miss out, so it asked its sponsors if they would help out.
