Certas Energy, which supplies around 1,200 forecourts and operates dozens of sites itself, has launched a new EV charging offer branded Evolo Rapid Charge.
The firm say Evolo will offer EV drivers a “fast, reliable, price-competitive charging service”, while the devices themselves feature touchscreen displays sporting animated graphics, together with a range of payment options and the offer of an Evolo smartphone app.
The first Certas owned-and-operated Evolo charging hub is under construction at a Gulf forecourt on the A4046 close to the Brecon Beacons in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent.
Commenting on Evolo Rapid Charge, Gerry Welsh, head of e-mobility, Certas Energy comments: “We spent time researching and listening to EV drivers and businesses to find out what they want and need when it comes to charging their vehicles – and we believe Evolo is a first-class product designed to meet those needs.
