Reduced sugar jams and spreads maker Jim Jams is expanding its range after a surge in sales over the past year.
Latest Nielsen Scantrack data for the past 12 months shows that Jim Jams enjoyed the largest sales increase within the top 30 UK spreads with an 803% rise in sales.
Now the company that in 2014 launched a hazelnut chocolate spread with 83% less sugar than Nutella is marking ‘Jamuary’ 2018 with the launch of new preserves.
The four-strong range of no-added sugar, 100% fruit, all-natural preserves contain half the final sugars of regular jam.
The company hopes to not only bring innovation to the jams aisle but also to boost home baking by rekindling interest in jam classics like Jam Roly Poly, Bakewell Tarts and Victoria Sponges.
Jim Jam jams will come in: Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Strawberry and Orange Marmalade.
