Henderson Technology has launched of the first EDGEPoS self-checkout integrated with HTEC Gempay payment terminals to enable their use in Texaco-branded forecourt sites across the UK.
The first site to adopt the system is a busy Texaco / EuroSpar store in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
Darren Nickels, retail technology operations director at Henderson Technology, said: “We are excited to launch our interface with the Texaco payment system for our innovative EDGEPoS self-checkouts, to offer our hybrid self-serve option in Texaco sites using the award winning EDGEPoS retail system.”
