Retail software solution company TLM technologies has announced that its flagship EPOS software, evoBackOffice, is fully integrated with NearSt.

The company says the development means thousands more retailers are more easily able to get their products on platforms like Google and Facebook, driving online customers in-store.

Founded in 2015, the technology from NearSt was developed to make products on physical store shelves visible to shoppers searching nearby online. Searches in Google for ‘who has _in stock’ are apparently up 8000 % YOY, so the advantages of having stock inventory visible on platforms like Google are clear.

Adrian Felton, managing director of TLM technologies, said: “Every day, thousands of people near to our customers’ shops will look online for products they stock. With this partnership, stores can show them what they’ve got and get those shoppers in-store.”

He said TLM’s fuel and convenience retail customers have expressed a clear appetite to use next-generation integrated EPOS technology to increase footfall by boosting their online presence.

Danyal Shoaib, Owner of Hylands Service Station commented: “We were looking to build awareness within the local community of just how vast our array of stock is and capitalise on being a 24-hour store. After four weeks of using NearSt Local Ads I’ve had over 22, 800 impressions and over 200 clicks. We can see that this is translating to an increase in people in-store.”
