Metropolitan Police officers are searching for two men after cash was stolen from a Shell petrol station in Eltham, south-east London.

Officers were called to the burglary at the petrol station in Footscray Road at around 3.15am on Sunday March 6, but two men are believed to have fled before they arrived

They reported that they found a quantity of cash had been stolen. The petrol station was closed at the time.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 1039/06Mar.”
