The sale of Great Glen Service Station in Fort Augustus, Scotland, to a national operator has been announced by specialist business property adviser Christie & Co.
The petrol filling station is adjacent to the tourist hot spots of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness, with good access to Inverness and Fort William. The business features diverse income streams, including a Post Office, convenience store, and gift shop.
The previous owners have operated the service station for 51 years and have sold to focus on other business interests.
Associate director Mark Lavery, who handled the sale, commented: “This sale shows demand for petrol filling stations in Scotland is still extremely high, with operators looking for good quality sites across the country. This particular site generated multiple offers from all over the UK.”
